Sony has now released the world's smallest interchangeable lens camera - the Alpha NEX-5 - to rival Panasonic and Olympus' micro-four thirds range. These smaller cameras are called EVIL (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens) because they are smaller that Canon and Nikon's DSLRs cameras but take higher quality photos than compact cameras due to their larger sensors.
