Tony Curtis dies at 85

Tony Curtis, the handsome and athletic 1950s Hollywood actor, has died at the age of 85 of a heart attack.
He was born in Manhattan on June 3, 1925 and was originally named Bernard Schwartz, the son of Hungarian immigrants Manuel and Helen Schwartz.
He appeared in 90 movies, was nominated once for an Academy award, for Stanley Kramer's "The Defiant Ones" (1958), married actress Janet Leigh and made his film debut in "Criss Cross" (1949).
Although he went downhill after starting to use cocaine in 1974, I will forever remember him in a favourite movie of mine when he played "Houdini".  Rest in peace Tony Curtis.
