Chile Miners Finally Rescued

After 69 days, underground rescuers slowly bring the 33 trapped Chile miners to the surface in a metal capsule, named the Phoenix 2, on a twisting journey along a 2,041ft shaft that had been drilled by rescuers.
The first rescued miner was Florencio Avalos, followed by Mario Sepulveda who was warmly hugged by Chile's President Sebastian Pinera.
