Greek Easter Resurrection Begins With A Shotgun Blast

The Reverend Father Eleftherios Tatsis of the Holy Monastery of Panagia Kamariani at Red Hill in Melbourne Australia has always been one of the most popular clerics in the Greek Community. He is passionate, controversial, likeable & always original.
This year he began the celebration of the Greek Easter Resurrection service with a bang - literally! The crowd applauded and sang "Χριστός Ανέστη" (Christ has Risen) with gusto and passion.
